St. James Park

Aahh, spring has officially sprung in the city.

This is the park that is adjacent to St. James Cathedral.

Here, in the Spring, you will find three beds of yellow tulips.

They were planted by the Garden Club of Toronto.

This organization began designing and planting in the gardens around Toronto, as early as 1946.

Together with Landscape Ontario, the Club also co-founded Canada Blooms, the highly successful Toronto spring flower show.
The park's gardens and grass are tended by City workers.

Nice shot of the tower. Sometimes when I walk by they play classical music with the bell tower, the carillon, it's wonderful.
